Wear J. Crew to work

It is no revelation that I am a bit obsessed with J. Crew, and their latest wear to work looks are my latest obsession.

I am by no means saying you must run out and buy these looks but if nothing else use the looks to have a fresh look at your closet, any shoes that you can pair to give that 9-5 a little kick in the pants on a Monday or a trench dress (which was also featured from Kule, back here, a theme perhaps?!) to mix things up!

Pairing the unexpected

One of the things I think J. Crew does better than most, is how they pair things.  I comb through every catalog for new ways to look at my closet; New ways to put things together. Ok, and yes, I do tend to happen upon something that I MUST have. But what I really love about J. Crew at the moment is how they put things together. They inspire me and makes me look at my wardrobe with new eyes. For that I am always grateful. Isn't that what the best fashion does? Here is some of the latest inspiration: 

The perfect bag

When I think of a bag for work - I think of a briefcase.  If you google women's briefcases, you will immediately see that they are not designed with fashion in mind. Since style is a must, not an option - it's taken years of active searching to find a chic bag in that particular category. When I saw this bag in J.Crew on 5th Ave in NYC two years ago, I knew I had found the one! This bag is impeccable - feminine and strong at the same time.
