#NYFW Fall 2014. Work looks on review (take 2)

February 16, 2014 Monika Houser Boyle

So yesterday I kicked off the review of the Fall 2014 collections, which began in NYC over a week ago now. Today I wrap up my favorite looks from #NYFW with (ANOTHER) 50 +2 looks.

Themes, which I mentioned yesterday but continue here are chunky knits (but with more belting this season), pinstripes, double breasted jackets, oversized coats, asymmetrical hem lines, side slit skirts, longer pant legs (E.g Narciso Rodriguez) mixed prints (Reed Krakoff, be still my heart) sheer fabrics (Nonoo, done perfectly might I add) and plaid. Make your shopping lists accordingly ladies.

Hope you haven't hit visual overload just yet. Next weekend I will be covering all the best work looks from London Fashion Week (#LFW) with Milan and Paris to follow. There is a reason why the September fashion mags are always the largest...there is SO much to cover for the Fall/Winter collections. Enjoy!

The Work Look is Monika Houser Boyle. Working in an industry that, for now, is still dominated by men shouldn't mean that getting dressed for work can't be fun, quirky or even daring. The Work Look hopes to inspire women how to do just that.
