Valentine's Day. Wearing red and pink to work

February 7, 2014 Monika Houser Boyle

Maybe getting decked out in red and pink isn't exactly what you thought of when you imaged yourself breaking through that glass ceiling, it is all a bit 'girly' after all. However, the following 18 looks may have you second guessing that notion.

If you aren't feeling like the red and pink combo try a pink coat, which have been everywhere as of late, and featured on one of my own favorite blogs, Honestly WTF, here. If that doesn't quite work for you, or your work place, try mixing either pink or red with camel/beige/brown which is instantly classic. Other color combos to try are pink and burgundy, as well as, pink and/or red with a deep or camo green.

If you are going to do a bold color I recommend keeping it in structured pieces, think pencil skirts, trousers, turtlenecks, silk blouses, classic coat, as they will look more sleek rather than trendy.
