I always need new black pumps

November 13, 2013 Monika Houser Boyle

I don't know about you but I go through black pumps like no one's business. I have befriended many a cobbler in my day, some who do fabulous work, but there is nothing these people can do to prevent my black pumps from disintegration. Nothing.

In the past I have bought expensive black pumps, thinking that was the solution, but alas, not even a high end shoe could thwart the damage that my tromping through the streets and running to and from meetings had on the life span of my black pumps.

So what is a girl who needs a basic black pump in her closet to do? Have a list of go to, inexpensive, black pumps on the ready of course.  None of the shoes shown here are over $100. So go ahead, maybe even order a back up pair! I have added in some options for those of you who want more than just a plain pointed or almond toe shoe. Personally, I love a patent leather or suede black pump in the winter, just the right compliment against my black go to opaque tights that I end up wearing all winter long.
